Announces
Book Awards for Excellence in Writing
Three annual awards will be given for writers who’ve
published a book of fiction or nonfiction where the major theme relates
to disability, addiction, and or mental illness or contains a central
character that has a disability, an addiction or a mental illness. Memoirs,
novels, and nonfiction books will be considered. Books will be judged
on how well the author has dispelled myths, written without using stereotypes
and used the narrative to relay a story that is moving, unique and worthy
of recognition.
